Child Psychology Assessment and Intervention
The Little Kind Psychology works with children and their support networks to help develop coping strategies and skills across a wide range of issues associated with child development. Clinical assessments and interventions are offered in the following areas:
· Anxiety, such as separation and social anxieties, phobias and avoidance of situations
· Emotional regulation difficulties such as low mood and depression.
· Regulation of anger and frustration

· Sleep disturbance, feeding issues and toileting concerns such as chronic constipation

· Adjustment issues that impact how children cope with major life events such as separation and divorce, changes to family dynamics, or the experience of illness

Professional Development and Clinical Supervision
Katie Bunch provides supervision to registered psychologists working with young people and their families. She is a Psychology Board of Australia Approved Supervisor in Clinical Psychology and is currently offering the following:
· Ongoing professional development and peer supervision requirements
· Clinical psychology registrars, 5+1 program, 4+2 program and clinical psychology students.
· Mental health practitioners wishing to further develop their skills in:
· Clinical assessment and intervention
· Working with children and their families.
· Developmental Trauma and the impact on brain development, attachment, and the development of the self.
· Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness approaches for children.
Supervision sessions will focus on creating a reflective space for supervisees to explore their own therapeutic style and professional identity, celebrate positive outcomes, and seek consultation on complex issues impacting on client progress.

Storytime for the Little Kind
Storytime for The Little Kind is a psychological intervention program designed to support the unique needs of preschool and primary school-aged children. The individual or group-based sessions harness the power of Bibliotherapy to introduce topics that promote well-being, understanding and growth. For example, topics of the story time sessions may include:
· Emotional regulation
· Social skills
· Self esteem
· Coping skills
· Problem-solving
· Relaxation
· Mindfulness
Storytime for The Little Kind combines reading picture books with carefully curated activities that are designed to promote reflection on the key messages included in the story. These activities may include art and craft activities, music and movement, activities that promote engagement with nature, and mindfulness based approaches to promote attunement and relaxation.
Storytime for the Little Kind sessions are offered weekly.
